The rice processing process primarily includes cleaning, hulling, milling, and finished product sorting. The cleaning process is crucial, involving the use of appropriate equipment, process flows, and operation methods to remove impurities from the rice and improve the quality of the finished product. The hulling process removes the outer shell of the rice, turning it into brown rice. Rice milling removes the bran layer from brown rice to produce rice with good edible quality. Finished product sorting includes processes such as white rice grading and color selection to ensure product quality.
The working process of the rice polishing machine
The rice mill grinds white rice with precision and flows it down into the polishing chamber through the feeding port. Simultaneously, heated water (used when the room temperature is below 15°C) is passed through a temperature-controlled water tank via a flow meter. It then flows through a rubber tube to the air-water mixing nozzle, where it forms a mist through high-pressure air. The mist enters the hollow spindle water area, where it is drawn in by strong negative pressure suction. The mist passes through the ventilation holes of the spindle and polishing roller, enters the surface of the polishing roller, mixes with the rice, and adheres to the surface of the rice grains, making them moist and soft.
Through the rotary motion of the polishing roller in the polishing chamber, the rice grains continuously move inside the chamber. During this movement, relative motion, friction, and compression occur between the rice grains, between the rice grains and the polishing roller, and between the rice grains and the rice sieve. The wetting and softening of the rice grains' surface reduces friction, removing the bran and acne on the surface. Meanwhile, during the frictional extrusion process, the starch layer on the surface of the rice undergoes gelatinization and crystallization, forming a bright protective film that improves surface smoothness and prolongs the rice's storage life.
The fine rice bran and chips produced during the polishing process are discharged from the machine through the rice sieve holes under the influence of strong negative pressure suction.
